Hi everyone! Welcome to the Brave and Well Podcast. I am your host, Vanessa Newton. I’m a Group Practice Owner and Social Worker. I’m also a First Generation Latina, Entrepreneur, Mom and Recovering Perfectionist.

On this podcast, we teach mental health professionals how to build sustainable, profitable and values aligned businesses.

Here you’ll hear about decolonizing the business side of private practice and supporting the entrepreneur in the therapist. We’ll also invite fellow therapists and healers to share their stories.

Over the past 4 years, I have mentored hundreds of women who have gone on to discover that when you take the time to identify your WHY, you build a business that has the ability to expand in many ways while freeing you from hustle culture and a scarcity mindset.

We can’t do this work alone. Brave and Well is a space where you can find community and feel empowered to take the next step in your business journey while gaining practical tools and resources to support you every step of the way.

One more thing about me – I don’t like to play small. My superpower is vulnerability and I value transparency. Our time together will be raw, honest, vulnerable and held together by joy. I will hold nothing back because I believe that when one of us wins, we all win. We are breaking barriers to entry, we are building generational wealth together, we are saying yes, you can do this and you have the right to take up space in the world of business as a mental health professional and as a person of culture.
